On the afternoon of September 28, 2019, the opening ceremony for international students of 2019 and entrance-education conference were held at the lecture hall of academic exchange center, south campus of Chang’an University. Vice-president XiangmoZhao，the persons in charge form Office of Educational Administration, Graduate School, School of Highway, School of Automobile and School of Construction Machinery, staffs from International Education School, and over 300 international students took part in the ceremony. Wei Zhang, the vice-dean of International Education School, chaired the ceremony.
Vice-president Xiangmo Zhao warmly welcomes the international students of 2019. He hopes students can adapt to the study and life at Chiang’an University, make more communication, give more understanding, respect for different cultures, become propagandists of Chinese culture and emissaries of friendship between China and foreign countries, and make contribution to the exchange and integration of multi cultures in the world.
Vice-dean Wei Zhang introduced the development history and current situation of Chang’an University and International Education School, and explained some questions of student concern, such as school regulations, scholarship, accommodation, insurance and mental health.
