1.Department of MechanicalDesign

Department of mechanical design undertakes the teaching of mechanical specialty and industrial-design major. There are 25 staffs, in which 2 are PhD-student supervisors, 8 are master-student supervisors, 3 are professors, 6 are associate professors, and 16 have PhD degrees. Currently, there are 3 PhD students, 50 master students, and over 100 bachelor students.

In recent years, staffs at department of mechanical design chair 5 national-level research projects and 3 provincial-level research projects (total research grant is 1.27 million RMB), published over 50 research papers, and published 5 monographs.

      2.Department of MechanicalManufacturing

Department of mechanical manufacturing undertakes the teaching of major in mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, which is a national-level characteristic major. There are 21 staffs, in which 2 are PhD-student supervisors, 7 are master-student supervisors, 3 are professors, 6 are associate professors, and 19 have PhD degrees. Currently, there are 4 PhD students, over 80 master students, and over 360 bachelor students.

In recent years, staffs at department of mechanical manufacturing chair numerous research projects including 7 national-level research projects and over 10 provincial-level research projects (total research grant is about 5 million RMB), published over 250 research papers, authorized over 100 patens and published 5 monographs.

      3.Department of MechatronicEngineering

Department of mechatronic engineering undertakes the teaching of major in mechatronic engineering, which is a national-level characteristic major. There are 32 staffs, in which 5 are PhD-student supervisors, 9 are professors, and 19 have PhD degrees. Currently, there are 4 PhD students, over 80 master students, and over 360 bachelor students.

In recent years, staffs at department of mechatronic engineering chair 10 national-level research projects and 8 provincial-level research projects, published over 100 SCI- and EI-indexed research papers, authorized over 100 patens and published 5 monographs.

      4.Department of ConstructionMachinery

Department of construction machinery undertakes the teaching of majors in construction machinery and building machinery. There are 40 staffs, in which 3 are PhD-student supervisors, 21 are professors and associate professors, and 28 have PhD degrees.

In recent years, staffs at department of construction machinery chair over 30 national-level and provincial-level research projects, and over 70 research projects from enterprises (annual research grant is about 3 million RMB), published over 300 research papers and published 21 monographs.

      5.Department of HighwayEquipment

Department of highway equipment undertakes the teaching of major in mechanical design & manufacturing and automation, which is a national-level characteristic major. There are 21 staffs, in which 1 are PhD-student supervisor, 7 are master-student supervisors, 2 are senior engineers, and 8 are professors and associate professors.

In recent years, staffs at department of highway equipment chair over 30 research projectors, in which over 10 are national-level and provincial-level research projects, published over 200 research papers and published 8 monographs.
