On the afternoon of November 19th, the Master Students’ Seminar was held in Conference room 211 of the School. Prof. Zhang Xinrong and Prof. Zhang Chunguo, A/Prof. Zhang Xiaoli, Zhang Qingzhe, Class advisor Wang Xiaotong from School of International Education, Foreign Affairs Secretary Fan Hailong, all domestic master students attended the conference, and overseas students attended the conference online. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Chunguo, vice dean of the school.

Zhang Chunguo introduced to the international students the history of the school, the establishment of institutions, the faculty, and the related information of the cooperative enterprise, Fujian Tietuo Machinery Co., Ltd. He said that the arrival of international students has injected new vitality into the development of the school, also attracted more researchers from other countries to exchange and study, expanded the channels for foreign cooperation, and effectively promoted the internationalization of mechanical engineering education. He hopes that students cherish the opportunity to study in the school and work hard to create a brighter future!
Zimbabwean student Li Wang (Talent Mugove Chibanda) introduced her study and life in China and presented the academic report (Intelligent Fault Diagnosis of Roller Bearings Using Deep Convolutional Neural Networks ). Chadian student Djime Moussa Ahmat shared his hometown and life experience in China. He made the presentation of Modeling and simulation for aero-engine blade-disk-shell interaction based on fractional derivatives. Kyei George Boadu, a Ghanaian student, introduced the history, food, architecture, customs, etc. of his homeland, and reported on Trajectory control of teleoperated excavator.

After the meeting, the advisors shared the international students' essay writing and scientific research progress, and the participants discussed the existing problems in the international student training and management, education and teaching, and daily life.
